Woodinville Village Updates
By michelle | April 21, 2008
Woodinville Village has been in the media over the past couple of weeks as it deals with the shifting real estate landscape. As the area home inventory increases there is more financial risk and less incentive for the developers to rush the condos to market. However the commercial side of things - office space and retail is relatively healthy so a shift in the schedule can still make this project a great success and added value to the Woodinville Community.
So what is the latest scoop?
-
Infrastructure. Internal roads, site work, and utilities are all in. Intersection roundabout is in process - contstruction should be complete by year end.
-
Residential
The Villaswill be available for move-in starting this summer - 20 in July and another 19 in September. These are the town-homes along the riverfront (Redwood Village conversion).
Solera - the schedule for this complex of condominiums is dependant upon the sales of the Villas. This was the most popular for pre-sales so it is the next priority residential development (click here for more info Solera) -
Commercial/Businesses
Hotel Verana - On track to start construction this year and open for business in 2009.
Wineries - Brian Carter Cellers and DeLille Cellers - remain committed to the development - expected to be open in 2009.
Restaurant - Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria - remains committed to the development - expected to be open in 2009.
Office Space - Negotiations are in process that sound promising - but until the deals are finalized we will be kept in suspense as to who might be moving in.
