NSD Board Voted on Budget Reductions - 4/22

The NSD School Board voted to approve many of the budget reduction recommendations last night.

The Reduction Plan in Lieu of School Closure was approved in total. See

Five items from the original 08-09 plan were voted on individually. Click on Northshore School District - Budget 2008-09 and then scroll down the page for line items. The other items are still under consideration.

Combine HSN/SAS administration ($250,000)

Close the Woodmoor pool ($40,000)

Eliminate HSN enrichment program ($92,000)

Reduce nursing staff ($150,000)

Eliminate library techs ($400,000)
